The revelation of an image, which progresses to the heart of the materia, seized in an incoercible movement: that of a dystopia in progress. A primitive entity on the verge of cataclysm, an infinite flight forward, until the complete dissolution of all forms and figures.

You are about to witness one of the spectacular things of our existence – the beginning of you, me, everybody. This film shows you the time before and afterwards till, that's for sure, it finally ends followed by a big smile. It is a combination of beautiful well known pictures, symbols and also surprising ways of showing the origin and progress in an abstract form, strongly supported by the sound. QUINTESSENCE was shot on 16mm film material and is partly self-developed.

In SUNSPOTS, several 16mm shots of the sun are layered and superimposed, paired with a soundscape consisting of volcanos, fire, plastic and the audible solar sounds recorded by the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO).
